Doctor Changes

Dr Cameron Payne commences working full time at the clinic from 4 February 2025. Dr Payne will be working Tuesday to Fridays and has been working in the local area in recent years.

Dr Payne grew up in NSW before moving to Melbourne to study medicine. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 2019 and completed his hospital-based years locally at Peninsula Health, gaining experience in several speciality units before commencing General Practice training. Cameron enjoys seeing patients of all ages and loves working with patients to improve their overall health. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two little girls, working in the veggie patch, or out camping and bush walking.

Dr Susanna Gong will be finishing her 15-month placement at the clinic in early April 2025. Dr Gong would like to wish her patients all the best for the future.

Accreditation

The clinic will be undergoing our re-accreditation with AGPAL on 20 February 2025. This occurs every three years and achieving independent accreditation against the Royal Australian College of GP’s (RACGP) Standards demonstrates our commitment to providing high quality care.

Ovarian Cancer Month

February is Ovarian Cancer Awareness month with 26 February being the Giving Day.

  2. 70% of those diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer will have a recurrence within 3 years.
  3. Symptoms of ovarian cancer are often vague making the disease difficult to detect.
